Dog Training

We offer puppy training, obedience and manners training, building confidence in anxious/nervous dogs, as well as minor behavior modification. Our experience shows that long-term success in training requires full commitment from the owner. If you expect to send your pup off to a trainer and have them return fully trained, it's likely to fall short. Effective dog training involves the owner learning how to manage their dog and respond appropriately to achieve desired behaviors. Therefore, owner education is crucial for that our pups remain well-trained and well-mannered.

We strive to provide flexible options in terms of cost and types, including:

Remote training sessions (the most affordable option, available worldwide)
In-person training sessions (weekly or bi-weekly
Board & Train Hybrid Program (the most intensive with the fastest results)

For more serious behavior issues such as aggression, separation anxiety, resource guarding, or reactivity, please contact us for referrals to trainers who can best meet your needs.

Board & Train Hybrid Program

Our Board & Train Hybrid program, developed by The Animal Law team, is designed for maximum effectiveness and lasting results. This includes one week of boarding where foundational training takes place, followed by a week at home for practice, complete with two remote sessions and daily text support from our training team to ensure you're always on the right track!

Our program starts at $600 per week for the above, with the cost increasing based the intensity of training and the number of in-person sessions you desire. We customize the program to fit your specific needs. Additionally, we offer a variety of payment plan options. The smallest program we provide is the 4-week package, as anything shorter would not support your long-term training success, which is our ultimate goal!

(We offer 1 scholarship a month where the cost of boarding and train is drastically decreased. This is only for basic obedience, manner,s and puppy training)

In-Person Programs

If you are an experienced dog owner, local to Bakersfield, and have just hit a wall and need some guidance, then this could be the option for you!

In-person programs would consist of 2 sessions a week: one in your home, and one in an outdoor location to work on focus on and confidence our in the world. You would also have daily texting support and always have the option to add on emergency remote-sessions if something isn't working.
