Flora & Fauna Friday: Snapdragons

ree

ree

For our first Flora & Fauna Friday we will be discussing a seasonal beauty: Snapdragons! While you may not want your pets chewing up your flowers - this plant is stunning, and if your pet were to get ahold of it there would be no health repercussions. This is such a beautiful pop of color for your home or garden.

Toxic Plant of the Week

ree

This week I want to bring awareness to one common houseplant: Monstera. I have a Monstera (aka Swiss Cheese Plant) and it is one of my favorite plants. I keep it up and away from my pets, but Arthur has gotten to it and eaten it's leaves before. Below this paragraph will be a photo of my sweet boy's face after getting into my own Monstera. TW: puncture wound shown. Please do research on every plant you bring into your home to know if you will need to keep it at a safe distance from your pets.
